So, a little backstory. My manager/friend runs a nonprofit ( 501c3 ) animal rescue for small animals - everything BUT dogs and cats. Reptiles, hamsters, rats, rabbits. You name it.
She takes care of a LOT of animals by herself with a small team of volunteers. She has a lot of expenses and relies entirely on donations and her own pocket.
Recently she told me about how she took in ELEVEN rabbits from a hoarding situation. The sheriff’s office literally called her to take them. One is really beat up and in bad shape (got vet care immediately out of pocket), the others seem alright but need a vet check AND to be fixed - ESSENTIAL before they can be adopted out.
Getting 11 rabbits fixed/checked on is not cheap! She really, really needs help. She started a youcaring on my advice and that of a volunteer, and I’d like to get the word out!
Please help her out if you have a few extra bucks! She works really hard for these animals, and hardly gets donations.
